Creating Efficiencies

Organized staff and facilities

K-12 Schools

School districts have the unique challenge of dealing with many students, staff and activities, as well as maintaining several buildings, some of which may be spread apart by several miles.  Apex aims to help keep districts organized so everyone can do their jobs efficiently, as well as keep the buildings running efficiently to keep everything on budget.

  • Energy Efficiency: Renewable energy resources are an excellent option for schools ready to save money on electricity.  Solar power can help cut costs and reuse the sun’s energy, making it an environmentally-friendly solution.  Switching to LED lighting is another energy-saving option.
  • Facility Maintenance: Classrooms, offices, kitchens, and mechanical rooms are often found in every district building.  It is a lot of which to keep track.  Our work order software program allows staff to alert maintenance as soon as an issue comes up.  We can also inspect your buildings to check out your mechanical equipment, plus we’ll investigate to ensure there are no OSHA hazards present.
  • Health and Safety:  OSHA requires staff be certified in some basic health and safety procedures.  Depending on your employees’ roles, some may need to be certified in more areas than others.  Our software program can help educate, test and certify that the employee has been educated in this area.  The information is recorded and handled electronically, reducing the amount of paperwork in the office.  And if any questions arise from OSHA, you have the documentation to back you up.

Apex understands making big energy-efficiency changes can cost a lot of money.  Districts have tight budgets and may not have the luxury to make changes that could be good for its future.  But there are grants and refunds of which to take advantage.  Leveraging state energy procurement laws to maximize financial benefit for the client is one way we help your organization solve this problem.  Let Apex help you get the right funding to make the changes you need, happen.
