Rice Lake Area School District
Challenge
The Rice Lake Area High School had an aged heating, cooling and ventilation system that was no longer working properly. The facility also did not have the proper amount of outside air being brought into the building, and the electrical system was outdated as well. All of these systems needed to be updated. Many parts for both the electrical and HVAC systems were becoming obsolete and unavailable, making repairs difficult and costly to the District.
Our Solution
It was determined that the district needed a displacement ventilation system with cooling. With the new system they needed all new electrical service and wiring, down to the branch circuit level.
Final Result
Apex completed the design, bid the project out, and awarded contracts to multiple contractors. We were able to complete the installation during the summer months while students were not in the building.
