We are headquartered in Coon Rapids, MN with a secondary office in Brooklyn Park, MN. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Engineering Positions will focus on HVAC development and design for municipalities, schools and and other commercial applications. These positions will be involved with all phases of construction and will also have exposure to general construction, including lighting, and other trades. Projects include both publicly bid plans and specifications, and design build projects for clients. These positions require an understanding of retrofit projects and new construction.
The Project Manager positions will provide overall project management resulting in the achievement of proposed project objectives including project budgets, energy savings, timelines and the meeting of customer expectations. PM’s will work with business and building owners, architects, engineers and contractors to provide energy efficiency services and implementation. The ability to problem solve, think creatively and communicate effectively are an essential part of this role. These positions will track and report all project activity on a timely basis including progress reports, updated timelines and budgets, project issues, project variances and on-going resource requirements, and will manage the resources that are dedicated to projects so that they meet the proposed budgets, timelines and customer needs

Qualifications
Required:
Engineers: Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, or related engineering field.
Preferred:
Hold Professional Engineer (PE) License for Minnesota.
Member of ASHRAE
Member of AEE, hold CEM certificate
Project Managers: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business/Technical Discipline plus a minimum of five years of project management experience.
Ability to meet customer site access requirements (drug testing, background checks etc..)
Maintain a Valid Driver’s License
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Skills & Experience
Required:
Curious nature with passion for finding solutions.
Knowledge of building HVAC and controls.(Engineers)
Self-motivator with strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work alone.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Driver’s license and transportation.
Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays (approximately 10%).
Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, if needed.
Preferred:
Knowledge of energy savings strategies and renewable energy.
Knowledge of other non-mechanical building materials and systems.
Construction experience.
